Island Creek Ospreys 2020-What I Knew, What I Know-2026

Four Ospreys returned to Island Creek in March 2020, and six Ospreys migrated for the first time. All summer, the six youngsters skirmished outside my pandemic-office window over two new nest platforms the Captain had installed.

A telescope in 2021 led to anthropomorphism, specifically, snarky names to help me differentiate them. In 2022 the Captain proclaimed St. George Island, Osprey Capital of the World. Their poop was an island issue by ’23. And then, that wasn’t an issue anymore.
